Capability statement

In these boxes it is summarised what Health ClusterNET can do building on its experience as an Interreg IIIC funded operation (2005-2007) and the experiences and skills of member regions. It helps members (current and potential) and stakeholders decide how HCN can work with them to (i) achieve added social and economic value from regionalhealth systems (ii) maximise health gains from EU Structural Funds.

CREATING AND SHARING PRACTICAL KNOWLEDGE

 

PRACTICAL KNOWLEDGE PROGRAMME

  • EC funded projects, EU-wide Working Groups, expertly led   
    by HCN, member regions and partners that focus on:
               Engaging local SMEs in procurement in regional health markets
               Sustainable and effective health innovation markets
               Affordable health care capital investment
               Inclusive and attractive health sector employment
               Maximising health gains from Structural Funds

 

CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAMME

  • Annual Conference hosted by member regions (Biennial Regional Policy Roundtables hosted by member regions e.g. Bilbao Declaration adopted by 14 regions fromPolicy Roundtable hosted by Basque Health Minister (October2008).
  • Regional Health Investment Maximiser Programme (Peer development for senior regional staff and politicians)
  • Personal learning experiences for members via secondments, study visits, mentoring, workshops, master classes, action learning sets.
