Collaboration with key European organizations, universities
Health ClusterNet is building collaboration in knowledge exchange, capacity building and technical support with the AER Public Health & Social Care Committee; ECHAA, LUDEN, EUREGHA, German Network of Health Regions and the European Institute of Public Administration.
Also it is continued to contribute as an external partner to the new European Master’s Degree in Sustainable Regional Health Systems. This was developed by four European Universities led by Universidad de Deusto (Bilbao) and Vilnius University. It was successful in the last round of applications for Erasmus Mundas funding and launched in September 2008. The degree has initially built on the learning and knowledge from HCN in its first phase of operation. It provides students from developing countries outside the EU with the vision, knowledge and tools to develop and manage coherent regional health systems that contribute both to health and sustainable regional development.
